Project Concept:

• My short film will be in the style of an informative ad to educate the public on what the ocean will look like if our world continues polluting the ocean.

• It will take place 30 years in the future to give a glimpse into what it will look like to go to the beach to go surfing. The reality will be a beach covered in trash, an ocean filled with pollution and smog-filled air.

• The ad will end with several facts concerning the future of our oceans and an organization to donate to that helps fight against ocean pollution.

• By the year 2050:

  • There will be more plastic than there are fish in the ocean

  • 3x as much plastic as there is now

• 11 million metric tons of plastic are dumped into the ocean every year

• There are currently 200 million metric tons of plastic in the ocean
